Community Reads is a newly developed literacy program sponsored by Community Connections of Iowa. We are currently raising money for a dedicated space, where we will work with children and adult on their reading and writing skills. We believe that knowing how to read is not only important, it is essential to our community. Like the old saying goes, "The more you read, the more you know!" Knowing how to read also raises self-esteem and confidence, which can help kids succeed. 

Bookends is our fundraising project that we hope will provide us with enough funds to make our vision of a dedicated space come true. Our goal to to open our center by the end of the year. You can browse through our books by clicking here.
